Excellence:

  • In this narrative, the goals and underlying objectives of the organization are obfuscated in the way in which it is written.  The first goal is to "mature the sound and sonic personality"....how?  What is the associated measurable objective associated with this goal.  This is a completely subjective statement and not quantifiable.  Goals and objectives have been conflated by this grant application.
  • The programming is interesting, but not directly tied to the proposal in writing.  The organization must relate the programming to both the mission and the overarching goals of the proposal.
  • The educational program is fantastic.  Why is this not part of the goals/objectives of the currently proposal?

Impact:

  • This application needs detail regarding the state local economic development including hotel stays and dining.
  • List the specific annual dollar amount spent on local employees.
  • The international/national items are very impressive.
  • M/P: This plan is very details and covers all aspects of proper M/P. Well done!

Management:

  • Evaluation Plan:
    • While the reviews are a good addition to the supplemental material, the surveys and corresponding data should be included.  Additionally, it would be nice to see how this data impacts future planning.
    • How has audience growth and demographics changed over the years?  Increase/decrease? Be specific.
    • How has feedback for educational aims been collected?
