very well structured artist in residence program; excellent structure, great description of partnerships; good data provided for outreach, 1400 artist days as output; engages a marketing professional; accessibility is great (artists have known disability);

CONCERNS: budget is very administrative; some justification is provided; what is hermitage auto for artists? although match funds, still needs justification; what is the need for travel proposed? school based work is not clear; outreach to youth seems low; diversity policy is not clear; mission says history and ecology not sure where that fits; 420 school youth only?; would have been better to see state funds go direct to artists, FL based artists policy?

Very well done proposal that nicely outlined programs,  offerings and the organization.  Keep up the great work you do.

Well written proposal

The proposal could be even stronger if there was a way to include economic impact data.

Its disappointing to have close to $100k of public grant money from the state's cultural division going to management and non artists fees of such an exclusive legacy institution - and with the exclusivity of the site and programs that none of the public funds would be earmarked for scholarships for young student artists of merit to attend appropriate summer programs etc... But I'm impressed with the programs and that there is a teacher/artist residency program. Also looks like more diversity in those benefiting would be a sound change. Like the video but I really think it's important to emphasize a partnership of this type of institution with the public school liberal art studies programs across the state which could benefit from such a strong cultural institution in such a pristine environment.
