Concern about financial sustainability of program
Betancourt Javier - Score: 93.000

program is well described and detailed, excellent partnership, good accessibility, excellent diversity, sustainability with use of MOU, excellent timeline and activities, good evaluation plan

CONCERNS: Questions in the budget include what is financial support? is that for an accountant? What is the travel and lodging for? what corporate support and grants have been secured? could use more detail about the educational outreach component

Grundy-Lester Gabrielle - Score: 80.000

Unfortunately none of the support materials loaded and as such were not able to reviewed.  Website was then visited, which helped support this request.

Evaluation Plan: Showing data or comments from the evaluations used would be helpful in supporting this request.

Accessibility:  While it is understandable that some of the offerings are prohibiting, statements such as "attempted" and "done in the past" do not support a strong accessibility plan.

Well defined goals

In the evaluation plan there is a reference to using an empirical method with no explanation of what research method that would be used.

The evaluation does not directly align to measure the success of the goals that are stated.

I remember this grant idea from last year. The amount requested for the grant and that which is allocated to specific artistic disciplinary excellence is very low. It looks like a lot of the grant request goes to administrative salaries and even 'finance support' - I think the festival and the activities proposed are amazing but more of the grant should go do a multiple of disciplines areas that are culturally significant - such as film which it appears the festival has garnered some amazing filmmaker sponsors. I'm confused because the grant allocation doesn't follow the narrative of all that's been accomplished. Please tell me about the $30,000 outside artistic fee? Lots of questions....
